Shipping & Delivery Policy

How delivery is priced, and how free pickup from the Brisbane or Sydney yard works.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Overview

TFH Site Direct sells temporary fencing, barriers, portable toilets and site essentials online. You can pick your order up from our Brisbane or Sydney yard at no charge, or we deliver it Australia-wide through our own logistics network and our freight partners. This policy explains how delivery is priced, how pickup works and what happens after you order.

2. Pickup or delivery

You choose at checkout:

  • Free pickup from the Brisbane or Sydney yard: there is no charge for pickup. Checkout offers the yard that holds every item in your order, or both when both do. The Brisbane yard is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We confirm by email when your order is ready to collect. Please bring photo ID.
  • Delivery: freight is priced at checkout, or quoted before we charge it. See section 3 for how the price is worked out.

3. How delivery is priced

For most postcodes, delivery is priced at checkout from your postcode, the size of the order and how it is unloaded (for example a tailgate truck when there is no forklift). The price on the delivery option already includes those charges, and you see it before you pay.

For larger loads, checkout asks whether there is a forklift on site to unload. Without one we send a tailgate truck and price it as a delivery to a home, which can cost more. When your answer changes the price, the delivery option shows the new price before you pay. The Delivery row shows the price ex GST, and the order total includes the GST on it.

Now and then our carriers cannot price a postcode online. You can still place the order for the goods: we quote the freight by email afterwards, and nothing is charged for freight until you have that quote. For large or heavy orders we may also call you to confirm the freight arrangements.

4. When your order arrives

How long delivery takes depends on your location, the stock and the carrier, so we do not promise a delivery date on the website. If you need your order by a particular date, call us on 1300 834 447 before you order and we will tell you what is possible.

5. Order processing

Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, we prepare it for pickup or delivery. You will receive an order confirmation and, where applicable, tracking information once the order has shipped. If there is a problem with your order (for example an item is out of stock), we will contact you.

6. Delivery address and access

You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery where required. For large or heavy items, the delivery may require suitable access (for example a loading dock and a clear path). If the carrier cannot complete delivery due to incorrect address, absence of recipient, or access issues, additional charges or redelivery fees may apply.

7. Risk and ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the nominated address (or on collection if you choose pickup). Ownership passes in accordance with our Terms and Conditions (typically on delivery once payment has been received in full).

8. Damaged or missing goods

If you receive damaged or missing goods, please note the issue on the delivery documentation if possible and contact us within a reasonable time (for example 24 to 48 hours). We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the matter and arrange replacement or refund as appropriate under our Return and Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
